Wing to scuttle rubber seal?
As part of my re-paint ive removed the small rubber seals that separate the wings from the scuttle.
Iam lookin at ordering 2 new ones but have found sumthing odd, porsche list 2 different parts, 1 is 6.5mm and the other is 4.3mm?
Iam thinkin this is it width, but which is correct?
When i removed the old seals 1 was wider than the other and looked more raised, mayb this was a 6.5?
Mayb sumone had changed a seal previously?
Iam thinkin smaller the better.
Part no 91179950307 and 90153339422.

FWIW, Russ, I seem to recall that there's an 'original' type with circular holes and a replacement type with slots instead of holes to ease placement. I'm not at all sure that I haven't got that wrong, mind you!

I believe the wider (6.5mm - 911.799.503.07) version is the original 964 fitment whereas the 4.3mm (993.503.393.00) part was standard on the 993. I tend to agree with the comment made above that the smaller part looks better though.

The scuttle is the bit of bodywork where the wiper spindles and washer jets are mounted. The seal mentioned by the OP is the rubber part at the bottom corners of the windscreen (aka windshield).

Yes, the cowl. It came to me, I returned to Rennlist to post and saw that Ken D beat me to it.
Still, it's a 964 in any language. Now back to the garage (I mean car port) to check on a few things like my antenna (I mean aerial), wax the hood (I mean bonnet) and then fill'er up with gas (I mean petrol).
