any chance of a rough sketch of the day?
what time & where,s the meet ? how long/far do you go out for ? what time do you head home ?
i,m new to this sort of organised drive out , usually i just set off & end up in the strangest of places

I'm struggling to check the weather again (stupid phone made by Granny Smiths....) so after getting wet going to and from a rolling road day today i'm going to cry off.
I should be ok for either of the other days if the run gets put back.

been tempted since the OP but got in-laws for a meal tomorrow pm & they already think i don,t like em , if i tear off in the car they shook their heads at i will be public enemy no1
but if i can be home by 3pm it sounds like my kind of day

We'll meet at the Esso garage at the edge of Ruthin on the A525 to Denbigh at 11.00am.
If there's only a few cars, we generally stay together - or at least meet up again at junctions - but I'll bring some route maps. Like last time, this won't be a mega-drive as Ali wants time for photography.
The idea is to bring along a picnic lunch and we'll spend am hour or so driving some great roads, stop for lunch and pictures at a picturesque spot and do whatever we feel after that - more driving, more pictures, more chatting or whatever takes your fancy. Anyone can leave any old time they wish - even if you're only there up to lunchtime, it would be a shame to miss out on what will probably be the last of the year. Plus, you'll see your car in Total 911.
Steve, don't you dare wimp out - today's weather has been rubbish, but tomorrow is looking completely different - a mite chilly though.
The weather is looking beautifully clear for the area all day tomorrow.

That was an excellent day. I'll post a few pictures later.
Especially nice to meet Carl, as a newcomer - very nice when people just fit right in like an old friend.
Took some superb shots late on with Ali also.

sure you had a great day & look forward to the pics & magazine feature ,just couldn,t make it happen this time , had a consolation spin out around lunchtime & called at the cafe in gargrave(nr skipton) cause my daughter says its the best ice cream ever , she,s 14 & up for the next north wales event , ice cream or not
