If my tires are at a consistent (but low) pressure the next morning and the ambient temps will be the same I don't touch them and usually they are spot on by the second session.
Perfect!

To the OP, 911Jetta,
How was the DE? And what pressures did you run?

FWIW, I start the day at 32 all around (cold), and then bleed down to 36 hot after each run... This has been the recommendation of almost every instructor I have had, and seems to work well for me.

Steve,
Thanks for asking. I had an incredible time, see this post:
https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...ferrerid=19642

I ended up keeping it at 32 PSI front, and 33 PSI rear. I drove 4x30 minute sessions, so I had a couple opportunities to check the pressure but I forgot each time. Everything worked so well on the car...I just spent time focusing on my driving and then "mentally" recovering. Too much going on for this first-timer! Wow, what a day...

Re this,
Please start a new thread - "My first DE experience: VIR in a Gray 964"

And, if there's no pics - keep it short.

I'm running 32psi front and 38 rear cold on RE11a street tire. I checked my pressures after each 30 min run at Mid O and found an even 4 lb increase in pressure all around.
