I have been considering going with a fixed rear wing for about a year now. I have been giving it lots of thoughts especially considering all that are available. I do not mind shying from being correct, as you can see I have 996 wheels on my Porsche. I find that 98% of the general public do not know much about weather a Porsche 911 is correct in its appearance. And the most inportant thing is that I do not, of course untill the time it comes to sell it. I have added some pictures, one being a 964 with a 993 RS wing and the rest are 993 RS.

 

Hmmm, interesting --- need more photos to decide, I say.

When I read the title, I wasn't too sure I wanted to see this but I must say I like what I see. Very nice on the martini car.

 

How about the wing from a 964 turbo s or C4-LWT?

From some angles it looks ok, from others it doesn't look right, but always seems to look right on a 993

 

Too '993 feminine' looking for the 964's lines, IMO.

If I don't say so myself I think the look is not bad good in fact wonder why I've never seen that attempted , looks better in a 964 than a 993

I made the attempt but the shop made it to height on the lid. I then heard the 993 RS could fit with a slight mod from inside .
