I used a 2.7 ohm 1/4 watt resistor that I purchased off of Mouser Electronics for $0.10 (no affiliation). I bent the two leads of the resistor into a U shape and inserted them into the orange plug socket for the airbag. Then I wrapped with electrical tape. Worked perfectly for me. The airbag light comes on when the car is first started, as usual, and then goes back off as if the airbag was still hooked up.

that is a nice idea ... instead of using the bridge plug

especially if you only have one (driver) airbag

Thanks! Wish I could take credit for it, but it came from an old thread here on Rennlist for Momo steering wheel install made easy. Maybe it was a 2.8 I got, I would have to go back and look through my records, but it works perfectly.
