Had my targa for just over 3 years, and tomorrow sees it being traded in. It's been a privilege owning a motoring air cooled icon, and have loved the experience. The noise, steering & handling have been a joy. Not sure I could say the same about some of the bills though!
I'm staying in the Porsche family, but have gone to the dark side. I've bought a kettle. It's not a bad one though as it's a 996T, 2002, with just 26k on the clock (compared with 150k on the targa). It's also got a tubi exhaust, so sounds pretty good too.
Don't worry though, I'll still wave at 964's!
Paul.

Didn't like the cost fixing the 964, and it needs quite a bit more spending on it. Bodywork, engine rebuild, etc.
Will miss the marine blue colour and heated sports seats (still better than any modern 911) though.
