Thanks Indycam. As I suspected, base in the center. Have not had a chance to search for circuitry of board yet.

While searching for a circuitry diagram for the spoiler controller, I found an old post by Springer which pretty thoroughly discusses problems and repairs. Will run with that for now.

Anybody know of any great reverse eng drawing programs ?
I draw by hand and it takes me forever .

You can Google "electronic drawing programs" and there are a lot of them, such as:

which is advertised to be good for electronic and automotive wiring diagrams. Most of them have free download/trial periods where you can try them out, everything short of printing without a watermark.

Don't know any of them first hand, but I would not go with the AutoCAD product, based on the cost and complexity of their Architectural/Engineering CAD and Building Information Modeling applications, which I do know.
