1994 C4 Drop Links from 993 series?
Fellow 964 Porschephiles...I am requesting your compatibility knowledge! An OEM parts distributor identified he has a pair of 993 drop links that are a direct replacement for my 964. Further defined: The 964.343.071.00 and 964.343.072.00 part #'s are superseded by 993.343.071.00 and 993.343.072.00
Obviously, the part #’s are the same except for (what seems to be) the model designation.
Any solid input on whether I should buy these?
Thanks for any help!

The original parts are available. Is there a benefit to using the 993 versions? Are they cheaper or just what the distributor has in stock?
Edit: I replaced mine about a year ago and used the 964 versions. I just checked Pelican and they show the 964 versions as available.
No affiliations.

Rob, thanks for the response. The benefit is the cost...and the distributor only has the right link. Cost comparison: $132 for the 964 series right link from Pelican and $125 for BOTH in the 993 series.
