Dan,

One of the most common problems here is the driver transistor for the sampling fan (on the back of the CCU). If you are in to electronics repairs the transistor is available from the likes of Maplins for only a few pence.

There is a guy in Norway who has a lot of experience with the 964 CCU and has a web site here which you might find useful.

Regards

Dave

If you find you need a replacement I have one from my car that was replaced in error by the local main dealer but later checked out as 100% ok by Lorenfp here on Rennlist. I never reinstalled it as the dealers replaced it with a 993 replacement unit (at enourmous expense...)

Cheers
