Default 1991 964 C4 Transmission failure

Driving the german autobahn today suddenly I heard a noise, thought it was a flat tire but there was no transmission anymore.... The engine is running fine and when I switch the PDAS button the car is moving ok! But in normal position the car doesn't move....
I just had the car service and the clutch replaced.

Has anyone an idea what the problem could be?!?

Thanks, Marco.

How long is a piece of string ?

Lake Como ? Send me a plane ticket and I will look at your car for free .

It you find a bad transaxle , you can maybe get a differential out of it for not much .

Are you in the silk business ?

If you look under the car , are the axles still bolted on ?

well..... the problem is.... I had to abandon the car at the Porsche dealer in Germany (closed on a Sunday and I put my keys in the postbox) and took a rental car to go to lake Como.
Couldn't see anything under the car.... do you think the clutch replacement could have anything to do with this?... nightmare.......!?

If they did not bolt up tight the axles and then the axles came off , you would get no drive from the rear .
That would be a million to one sort of deal .

Yeah, I had it happen on a cust car once. It didn't come off just vibrated and made noise. It was loose. Dirt is the big thing, the treads are not clean they can work back out, but it was probably a case of not being tight enough or set right.

Got the car after a nice drive through the swiss alps finally back in my garage but.... its seems the next problem is around the corner...
The clutch makes sometimes a howling noise when moving from still stand and I could smell it when I parked it. This is new, never had that before! Is my new clutch already dying....?
Any ideas?
