Great piece.

Just for the record however, you can set these cars up an infinite variety of different ways: My C4 was lowered, noisy, uncomfortable but an absolute blast to take out on a Sunday afternoon on the mountain roads! My cab however, I use almost everyday, unless I'm taking long trips. I have to say that, on the days I don't use, it I miss it terribly. Its stock, reliable and effortless to drive..

Therein lies the rub as the great Bard told us.
The perfect garage would have two 964s!...or a 964 track pig and a 993 C2s tipper for the daily grind.

Carby, once again a great write up and awesome images - ill just scrub out the "2" on the rear and our cars could have been twins.

I'm taking my C4 out to Eastern Creek next month to wring it's neck!

Only just read the article...very enjoyable and a good summation.

BTW I think you meant to say that a 997 always has understeer on tap when compared to a 964.
