I'm embarased to ask - but does anyone know where the oil drain plug for the oil tank is on a 1991 911 turbo. I've drained the engine - but can't find the darn oild tank drain

On a 964 its under the rear shark fin, just before the rear wheel on drivers side (I am in the UK so it may be on the other side). I would guess its the same place on a turbo.

You did drain the turbo oil catchment tank as well, didn't you?

Yes - thanks. I've had 3 other 930's but they were all pre C2 where the oil tank was on the side near the oil filter. I looked all around under the car for the tank drain but couldn't find it. I also have a manual that shows the blow-up of the tank/hoses/etc - but no reference as to where the actual drain plug was located. Thanks to the previous post I went straight to it and got it all drain and refilled this weekend. Also lowered it with HR springs and put 18" speedline replica's on it. Now it's off to the alignment shop this week before heading off to Laguna Seca for a track day - can't wait.
