After a lifetime of having french made daily drivers (Peugeot and Renault) I decided this time to have a VW, a 2.5 5 cylinders Jetta (known as Vento here because Jetta is not a nice word for us) of course it has manual transmission because I never owned an automatic car in my 40 years of driving and I don´t need to start now![thumbup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/thumbup.gif)
I was very tempted to buy the GLI model with the 2.0 Turbo engine but after recieving 4 speeding tickets in the last year (only one with the 964 and it wasn´t the fastest one
) I am now driving more slowly (except in circuits)
Does anyone else here have a VW Jetta or Golf??

We have a kind of slang derived from our italian heritage, in italian language Jettatore means the one that brings bad luck (yeta in argentinian-italian slang means bad luck)
