Default Looking for More Legroom - Suggestions?

I have an 89 C4 with full power seats and I have moved them back to the furthest mounting points already which did help some. At 6'3" and having some significant arthritis in my knees these days getting another 2" would be great. Knee replacements are 2-3 years away still so thats not an option.

I searched the forums and did not see much. What other seats might give me some additional leg room and keep the period correct or Porsche look without looking out of place? Would manual sliders vs a full power seat give me more room? Car is used on street 95% and a few occasional AutoX sessions every year so a race seat is not necessary.

Have you tried just removing the driver seat and driving it from the rear jump seat yet?

You can probably modify the floorboard (drill new holes) or the seat brackets to move the seat back if there is clearance between the back of the seat and the rear seat.

I'm 6-2 and had to move mine back to the last holes w/o drilling new ones, convertible gives me enough headroom vs hardtop; leg room is good.

You can easily have 1/4" thich steel flat stock made that bolts with countersunk heads on the std mounts in the car and then in turn are threaded further back. You'll lose a bit of headrom that way.
