Default Torn boot on Swaybar droplink

This is the last 'while I'm in there' part during my cv boot & brakes r&r.

The boot at the top of my front swaybar droplink (C4) is torn and the ball & socket are exposed. The droplink is easy to get to, and failure wouldn't really be catastrophic. I'm wondering how urgent it is to replace it?

After new front/rear pads/rotors, rebuilt calipers, 8 new cv boots, and a few big and pricey oil lines, and various bits and pieces, this summer's project list is ballooning.

I'm curious to this as well, as I've got the same problem. The shop that did so much other work to my car didn't feel it was urgent (not like a torn CV boot, for instance). But I hate driving on a car with "known problems", especially if I have to call this car into daily duties.

They are really not critical, and failure is very unlikely with normal driving (i.e. no Baja 500). Mine are gone too, and they will wait for now.
