Project Shrek: Fuel consumption

Now that I have been using Shrek as my only car for 3 weeks, it has been behaving very nicely. The fan speed dial has started working correctly, the fuel gauge unstuck itself, The brakes are getting better every day.
The best surprise however is the fuel consumption. First tank mixed highway and town was 12.5 liters/100 Kms (18.8 mpg).
The real kicker was today. We drove all three, my wife, son in the kid's chair in back and me 315 miles, all highway at 80-85, and averaged 24.8 mpg (9.46 l/100 Kms). Ac was off (non operative).
I *never* had it so good in a Porsche.
What are you all getting, in non-track use these days?
