The totally Polar Silver thread (whites in particular keep out!)
Those other goddamn pretentious colours have their own threads, so it is about time we (the PS-ers) showed them all up--so load up and post your own PS, or find what's out there and put 'em up; let the show begin . . . .

Great idea Etom.
Sorry for the people in the background, but I do like this picture. Taken 3 weeks ago at the badlands just outside Drumheller Alberta. I have the headlight trim rings on now, looks a lot better. The second picture is from Glazier Park Montana at the summit and the third from somewhere in Idaho.
PS. Just had 4 new tires (Continental Extreme Contact 225 45 17 255 40 17) and a full RS alignment and corner balance, man does it handle now.

Yeah, yeah, it's a torsion bar car. But I got the idea to do it from one of the Polar Silver RSAs that used to show up at the track! (I've got better pictures of the car, but this one was from just after 964s were out of production.)

Polar silver has a faint hint of baby blue in it - arctis silver. my favorite silver does not. There are aslo zermat and metalic silvers that look a little platinum'ish.

I am sure that Polar Silver on 993s is 'bluer'. I know there are two codes for PS - perhaps they upped the blue for the later cars? My code is L92E - the E changed to something else for the later code, though if you try to get some mixed by a paint factor, they only recognise the L92 part - no variation.
