Hi guys,

I will buy a 993 steering wheel, Will it fit in my 964 91" (No airbag)?

Regards!

I searched the forums awhile back on this and the consensus was no they are not easily swapped. Need a bunch of steering components changed as well. Its a shame because the 964 airbag wheel is butt ugly.

I think putting in a 993 steering rack solves the problem?!

The 993 RS steering wheel fits with a standard Momo boss.

I think you just have to change the pieces that surround the stalks. I put the RSA wheel on the yellow car, just to move it around the shop one time when it was apart. It mounts up fine (everything from '74 -on is the same); but there was interference from the plastic.

I just put a 993 wheel on a 964C2, You w=need the 993 clock spring for horn function and turn signal cancel, depending on your taste you may want to do some grinding on the 964 column surround...other than a bit of wiring its a piece of cake...all you need is some allen wrenches to remove the airbag and a 24mm socket to remove the steering wheel
