Default Will a 10" wide wheel fit in the rear with a 48 offset?

Looking at a set of replica BBS LMs in 18x8.5 ET52 and 18x10 ET48 fitment for my narrow body 964. I know that an offset of 52 is the correct fitment front and rear, so moving it 4mm inboard with the ET48 wheel I'm guessing would help in terms of the fender lips, but I'm concerned about clearance around the oil lines. Thoughts? I know that I'll need to run 265s in the rear to be absolutely safe..

With ET48, your worries for the rear would be less on the oil line but on the fender since ET48 is further outwards than ET52. Even though each car varies in clearances, you should be fine with a 10" ET48 rear. What year is your car?

I run 18x10 et47's shod with 265/35/18's on H&R coilovers set slightly below RS specs. I don't have any problems, though my fenders are rolled (do I have the only '92 RSAmerica? )

The fenders on my car were rolled when I bought it. Hence, the suspicion I own an-undisclosed '92 RSA prototype

My 90' C4 has those offsets and widths. I run 255 Pirelli P zeros on the back for the road and 265 Yokahama Advans for the track. To I run a little more negative camber on the track which gives me no clearance issues with the 265s.

In both case the wheels pretty much fill the arches but allow full suspension travel without any rubbing against the wheel arch. Wheel arches aren't rolled.

Regards,

Neil

The seller doesn't know the maker of the LMs - apparently they're pretty lightweight though. I know linea corse makes a LM replica, but not sure who else it could be

What's the weight of the replicas? I have a set (same size) which I calculated the weight out to be 23 lbs front and 24 lbs rear. Pretty close to the BBS.

225 up front and 265 in rear. 285 won't fit in rear, but this is a 993.

Quick Reply: Will a 10" wide wheel fit in the rear with a 48 offset?
