Finally picked up my C2!!!
Sorry for the crappy cellphone pick but I had to share a before photo of what the car looked like when I brought her home. I have 18 inch Veloce 3.6 wheels getting mounted & balanced today and I am going to do a full detail on the car over the weekend. I will post up the new pics when I get it all done.
Details.
1990 C2 Manual Trans, 49,XXXX miles, all records and impeccable service history. This car is in almost perfect condition. I drove her home 500 miles yesterday and enjoyed every minute of it. I feel like I got it for a steal at $17,500.

Woa. Im knocked over yet again by how cheap you guys can get these pearlers. The entry price for a good car is a LOT higher over here. The A$ is about .84 at the moment as comparison.

Well its about time Ed! Lol. No really I think you got a pretty good deal on her. What did the PPI uncover about the engine oil leak and the a/c problem? Can’t wait to see it with the 3.6 wheels

PPI was done by Scott Spence at German Motorwerks and the oil "leaks" are some minor seeping out of the lower covers and the oil return lines. He told me not to worry about it until the next service. The A/C was converted to 134a and works perfectly. The only thing he said the car needed was tires and wiper blades. The previous owner seriously undersold this car. All major service were done 4k miles ago and I mean everything is in perfect condition.
