Diff between factory and replica wheels?
I'm looking to replace my D-90's with Cup I's or II's. Should I be concerned about using replica rims? It's purely a summer car in Chicago - no track use.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I have the cup 1 mille miglia I forget the spelling but had no issues. Only way people will know is if the look for the offset on them or part number and you should have a few hundrend or thousand in yoru pocket..

I have the twist mille miglia wheels for 5 years and they have been great. I think they weigh a bit more than the factory wheels. No big deal off the track.

WEIGHT.
All aftermarket cup style rims I have come across are WAY heavier than factory rims.
Consider any of the 993/996 Boxster rims or Cayman rims for your car, especially for the track. they are readily available second hand and usually cheap second hand.
I have a set of five spoke 17" cayman rims as one of my sets of track rims and they are really light. I run 14mm spacers up front to push the track right out and the rears sit slightly further out than original 964 rims so all around i have lots of nice track on my car. 996 rims and early 986 boxster rims usually don't need spacers unless you wish to intentionally increase track over standard.
I also have two sets of aftermarket cup rims, one for the road and one for the track and they seriously feel twice as heavy as the OEM porsche rims.
If not concerned re factroy look. Try Enkei, Rays or Work rims which are all very light. Yokohama Advan wheels are also an option.

The cup 1's (C2 Turbo's) are nice in their original form, meaning a little more curvy than their fake counterparts. I guess you would have to see them back to back to really notice. And as Jim said, weight.
