Slow engine decel while shifting
I am wondering if anybody else experiences this. Sometimes when I am shifting the engine doesn't decellerate as fast as it should. It is not that it is hung up at a higher rpm it is just not as responsive (slow) to drop rpm's. Most of the time it is what feels normal. When it is doing this it is just not for 1 or 2 shifts. It seems to last for the whole trip. Idle switch is adjusted and working correctly and the floor mat is not hanging up throttle. I have a 1989 C4. Thanks.

Does a non-turbo have a deceleration valve, or vacuum limiter valve??? Thats what made my car do that when it went bad, but i have a turbo so i dont know if that will help you.
