VERY nice RS. What really surprises me is that it sat UNSOLD until 1996! Different times I guess, though the latest GT3/RSs aren't exactly flying out the door either.
I'd assume the Speedlines are 964 Turbo 3.6 versions, they look great on an RS. Also noticed your signature; 6 speed?

Thank you,
Yes they are turbo 3.6 wheels but with slightly wider outher rim on the front wheels.
I usually have a 993rs gearbox with a lower ratio on the pinion and crown wheel. It's not munted at the present due to a small rebuild.

Hi Mårten,
Missed you there!
It was a warm day 36 degrees celcius (!) and I felt a massive loss of power but so did the the newer cars. I had to push the old envelope quite a bit to keep up with the 997 RS but it was worth it.
The newer car accelerates a bit quicker than my old car does, mine brakes a bit better and I seem to have a better initial turn in.
Yes I do have Michelin cup
See ya in september...

Anders,
Great new video - the GT3 might have the legs on the straights but it's fun to watch you snapping at his heels, in the corners.
Bet you were enjoying yourself more than he was too![Stick Out Tongue](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
Keep up the good work ~
