I've got a Slate Grey C2 and am thinking of running some flat black wheels of some type (17" cup, or maybe some other brand, etc.) - right now she's wearing D90s with A/S tires (Michelin PS+).

Need some pictorial examples first though - narrow body Slate Greys preferred, although I did see a fantastic looking 3.6 turbo w/ black turbo wheels out there somewhere

I'd like to see some too. I was thinking of painting the 996 turbo twist replicas on my black coupe a dark gray, similar in color to the "competition gray" option on Corvette C6 wheels.

Ha funny you should say that..... I'd actually found this photo there, although I didn't think the lighting really made the wheels look dark enough (and they're still D-90s, kinda thick):

Woah, I actually really like that, D90s and all.

Yeah that pic looks good - but the (black) wheels should be darker than the (grey) body, realistically. I'm guessing the direct sunlight is wreaking havoc on that.

On the other hand, who cares? A little paint won't hurt anything... it's not like D90s are collectible items...

slate grey/flat black wheels is what i'd do if i had a 964 w/ my 2nd favorite color.. well, it's a toss up. black or grey, i like em' both..
