Do you have a leather dash and could that be shrinking and 'wavy' or are you seeing the entire dash unit deform? I don't have leather dash but mine is also completely straight and true.

Mine is not leather but is deformed, I always figured it was heat that caused them to warp but I may be wrong. Have looked into replacing it but second hand ones are really expensive.

The dash in our cars have a tendency to deform on the passenger side (for those with left hand drive setup) near the windshield/defrost vent. Common problem that can only be fixed (as far as I know) with a new unit...
Maybe someone has fixed one and recovered it in vinyl or leather after the fix... but I have not seen that done yet.

This was a recurring problem, at least in the early cars. I've got it too, at the typical spot (passenger side def. vent area). Mine was a Chicago car for most of its life, but even it that climate, it apparently sat outside in the sun just long enough to make it happen. There was a TSB about this that Porsche put out about 1991 I think. I've seen the bulletin, I Googled but failed to find it. But I pulled up a very old thread on it, but for some reason I couldn't link to it here, so I posted to it to bring it back up. The TSB is described in the thread. Look for the "Remedy for a warped dash?", posted today. There is basically no perfect fix (short of a new dash $$$), but some folks have tried various things with some degree of success.

This is a picture of mine. Now I know that I'm not the only who has this problem.
Our cars have 20 years old, so, We have to assume it, The interior of my 964 is really good, unless this problem jeje.

First time I see it mid dash... usually is towards the corner on the vent side, passenger side.
Learn to live with it, or get a new dash... anything else will be frustrating...

To buy a new dash is very expensive.., I think that we have to learn to live with it.
I've got the interior door trim (left side) with a crack in the hole (tumbler hole) ¿Is it normal too?

Nope... age man... some of those plastics become brittle and will need replacement. Want to keep looking? Open the doors and look at the plastic black cover inside the door... bet you that is cracked as well... want me to keep going?

You have as much chance of making it worse as better, if you work on it.
I'm opting for just leaving it alone, and using shades when ever I leave it parked for long periods, so as not to make it worse.
I don't even notice it anymore. I've had otherwise very nice cars that had cracked dashes, and those are much, much more unsightly.

My dash is leather (I assume - its a turbo?) and it has shrunk right in the middle at the front (near the screen) so there is now a little hump there. Glad to know I'm not the only one!
