Default Techart 18" Performance Wheels

I own a 1992 964T 3.3 X33 and wanted to put some Techart 18" Performance wheels on it. I asked Techart, and they said they would fit, so I then bought a set used.

I looked on the Techart Gutachten (manufacturers requirements for fitting the wheels) and noticed they want me to add a strut brace and the arches need to be rolled/widened at the lip.

I had them put on my car and it looks like the fronts just clear the arches (even though Techart say I can add a 3mm spacer), but the rears protrude a little. I currently have a standard suspension set-up, but am about to change it for Bilstein HDs and H&Rs.

I've seen some others on this forum running these wheels on 964 Carreras and Turbos, so I would be interested to know what modifications were made (if any) to the bodywork to make them fit.

They look like this:

Cool. Kinda look like RUF's, which are my absolute 964 favorite.

I think they suit the shape of the car very nicely and plus I was offered them at a very nice price . I've just had my calipers painted red and am considering having the wheels in another colour, but can't decide which, so for the moment, they'll stay silver.

I had to have the rear arches rolled to make them fit though.

I really like RUF wheels too, but they're too expensive. I also like Speedlines (both RUF and Porsche)

I have them on my 964 C2 which used to be Red911C2's car. I like the wheels very much and get a lot of compliments. It also has a TechArt front strut bar. I have the car running on Koni adjustable shocks, H & R red springs and the car is lowered and aligned to to euro RS specs. It has rolled fenders and I dont really have any significant tire interference. If you have a Turbo car you should have even more tire clearance attached are 2 pics at a autocross where I took FTD. I also have a front M030 sway bar but you can see I still get some body roll but just very slight tire rub on the inner fender liner while autocrossing.

I am not sure about TechArt but my ATS type 10's I had on my VW years ago were over 20lbs in 17...which is heavy and they are cast so I doubt they would be light.
