Default Copper vs stainless

Hss anyone used copper lock nuts for thier exhaust instead of stainless. Just curious since the the 964's use SS and the older porsches offer copper nut options.

Thanks
Joe

I have what looks like copper flange nuts on my exhaust, but whether they are actually copper or not, is another story.

Copper-plated hardware is the preferred fastener for exhaust hardware,....

SS would not be a choice due to strength issues.
