Talking Fresh out of the oven...

Had my engine fan, fan shroud, and intake manifolds powdercoated last week.

Fan and manifolds are white, while the shroud is gloss black.

You will have to excuse the crappy cellphone pics - better ones once I get everything back in the car this weekend.

Pretty happy with the results, though they painted the inner mating surface on the fan, and now the rs hub won't fit...

Where in Calgary did you get these parts powder coated? I need to have a set of wheels powder coated and I'm not sure where to go.

Also, I'd love to see your car around sometime. I, too own a black 964. Not too many of us around here in the sea of boxters, caymans and 997's!!

Unfortunately I think your car looks a lot better than mine does.. Hopefully I will have it back on the road within a week or two, still have to do valve adjustment, timing chain gaskets, front oil cooler...

I took the parts to Top gun coatings. The painter there recognized the fan as porsche from ~20 feet and knew the material, so it seems they have done a few before. Took about a week, $150ish, with the intake being the majority of the cost. They had a TON of finished exhausts and other car parts, and seem to know their stuff. Very helpful staff, too. Highly recommended.
