Davies is right....but don't get the wrong impression here...the rears are custom made 11.25's w/295 tires. Ruf only sell them in 10's.....plus the car is flared 2 inches each side to accommodate the bigger tire....so they look a bit different on a NB car...

I can attest to how sick this car is in person..I live in Studio City and lived a block away from this car....I could hear it coming up the street and I would run to the window to see it drive by. Sad the owner never stopped by to say hello when I was washing my 993. Great car! Cant wait to see the article.

D.Lewis...sorry....I love to share the R and take it to a lot of events, but you know LA....Porsches everywhere and impossible to tell who is a real Porsche guy and who is just a casual or vanity owner. You ever want to see the car I'd be happy to show it to you...you know where I live...just PM me and I'll give you my mobile #. I've had quite a few people contact me on the forums or even through firends of friends to come see the car...always glad to show it. Anyway, thanks for the kind words...I think you are one of the neighbors who doesn't care how loud it is...I try to get it out of the hood or off the street as quickly as possible especially in the very early weekend mornings.

That issue showed up at my office yesterday. I hadn't had a chance to even open it, but knowing this car is in it, I'll be sure to take it home for some bedtime reading tonight.

GT what'd ya think of the article? I think they did a pretty nice job on it. Only got a few things slightly incorrect....I certainly didn't name the car after "me"....I think the interviewer got that when I told him when you apply for a personalized plate here in Ca...they ask you want it "means"...so instead of telling DMV the R was for Rennsport I told them Robert figuring that'd be easy enough to understand....so for the record.....its Rennsport, just like the 911R

Yes, I guess since I probably paid for his house building this...that maybe I can send a copy to him...seriously, Lance did an amazing job...I've been trying to get him to come by...maybe this is a good incentive....Plus $$$ of course.

It's available as a download from the pixelmags app.
