Can someone tell me what the proper keystoke is to re-entry the radio code for a CR-1 radio?
The power has been disconnected all winter. I reconnected the battery and the radio indicates "CODE", So I enter the wrong code. I now have the correct security code but I can't get back to the CODE screen.

Have you tried disconnecting the car battery to shut off power to the unit? That should force a reset which will indicate code on the screen.

Don't you have to leave power on to the radio for 24 hours? (or was that the CD-2?)

yeah...I dug out my old CD-2 manual and it needed to be left powered on for 24 hours to get back to the "CODE" display. In the case of the CD-2 if you entered the wrong code 3 times the display would read "OFF". Perhaps it is the same for the CR-1?

Thanks, The power has been on for 24 hrs, so I'll check it out this evening and advise.
