Default 18" Sport Classic II replicas installed...

Got the tires mounted and balanced yesterday after work. Here are a few of the shots I took last night. I'll take some more soon in the daylight when the car is clean.

Widths are 7.5" front and 9" rear. I ended up going with Sumitomo HTR Z III tires...225/40 & 265/35. Took the car for a drive and I'm extremely impressed with these tires. Very quiet and smooth!

I really like the look of those wheels because they look stock, yet modern.

The wheels look great, really works well with the color of your car. Tough looking, but very classy. What a big change from your D-90s! Do I see rust from your rotor hats peeping through your spokes? Clean that up and you're set.

Hard to make Cobalt look bad. Is that a grey interior?

My thoughts exactly! I wanted an 18" aggressive looking wheel that complimented the car. I couldn't be happier.

Guilty. The D90s hid the rotor hat rust but it sticks out like a sore thumb now. Hoping to get this taken care of within the next few weeks...

I like your current Sport Design wheels too Pesty. I'm the one that emailed you and asked you a few questions about them a while back. I probably would have picked up a set of these if not for the Sport Classics.

Thanks! Yeah, it has the classic grey although the po had the seats redone in a blue/grey combo and the steering wheel wrapped in blue as well. I've gotten used to the seats but the jury is still out on the wheel!

There are mixed opinions on replica wheels but I've been very pleased with these so far. The finish is excellent and the fit was perfect. My car feels much smoother with these wheels and new tires than it did with my stock wheels and old tires.

I went through Tire Rack for the tires and they definitely lived up to their reputation. Placed my order on a Thursday around lunch and the tires were on my front porch less than 24 hours later!

Updated the album with a few more shots after a proper detailing...

Wow.....Looks great....you chose a perfect combo......The wheels really complement your car, especially the color....

I too as well have bought replica wheels for my 2004 Cobra years ago and they are fine.....They still look flawless, and perform excellent, and work well with my track days, be it 1/4 mile or D/e event...

Those look great, and the price is right. Where are these wheels made? Would look nice on my 93.

Those look great!! I have been running 17" sport classics and like them, but gotta admit, the 18's look better!!

Can someone please comment regarding the Porsche warnings about 18's on the 964 and what mods are required (or at least recommended) before running 18's?

Thanks!
