Default ??cutting holes in carpet??

anyone come up w/ a nice tool to cut the holes for things like seatbelt anchors etc. In new carpet?

The carpet is pretty stretchy, so I found success by simply cutting a small "X" with a razor blade then just expand a little as needed.

Exactly how I've always done it. Works great.

for a nice neat hole, a die cutter would work

or maybe a sheet metal punch (Greenlee?)
