Yes indeed, was a great Porsche day!
I had fun on my 1st Porsche meet, and certainly wont be the last. Plenty of expensive machinary as always in Oulton Park, but all Porsche kind
It was nice to meet some of you guys too, recognising names by the cars! Especially Mr Appleton;-)
Steve Brooks, what a very friendly chap, introducing me to all you others there, and hooking me up with a ride in a genuine 964RS from John with the black number;-)
All in all a Fab day, and hopefully see you guys soon.
P.s If you guys are going to the other Track meeting in Oulton Park on the 27th March, see you there. Will be there in a Seat Cupra Cup car.

Nice to put some faces to names! I turned up to spectate and ended up getting a track slot as someone had cancelled. Proves to me just how good the basic design of these cars is.. My track prep consisted of filling up with Shell Vmax and adjusting the tyre pressures after a few laps. Brilliant day apart from a little excursion into the gravel at Druids just to remind me that I'm no driving God. I'll wash the car later today and examine the 'damage', looks like chipped paint on the N/S/R wheel and an attempt to pebble dash the underside of the passenger door handle!
