Hi There,

I'm having an intermittent issue where after driving the car and turning the key off, the power from the battery shuts off completely. The battery is not the issue its near new and full of charge.

It seems like the car is resetting itself. When this happens i've tried disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it but nothing happens.

I have to wait 10mins or so for the power to come back on by itself.

Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening?

I would double check that your battery connections, grounds and DME relay are good. Any of these could cause these symptoms.

Mine was the cable between the battery's negative and the body. Quick and simple fix...thankfully.

Agree with the comments above. Had exactly the same symptom on both my 944s, was the positive battery cable connection in both cases.

Thanks guys, luckily tomorrow is a saturday or should i call it P-car diy day

Checked neg cable, power clicked off when playing it so obviously the cause, braid has started coming undone and touch of rust on connection. tidied it till my new cable arrives. i thought it was going to be a much more complex prob!
