I'm searching for a replacement Gong Relay Part No. 928.618.102.00 and have been striking out.

I've tried Pelican (no longer available), a local Porsche dealer (no longer available) and am currently engaged with Sunset Imports (on order from Germany) where I expect to hear "no longer available" after a few days.

Anyone have one of these?

I'm heading to the breaker yards next.

Perhaps it can be fixed?

I'm an ME and Software Engineer so the electrical bits tend to go over my head, but I'm willing to pull the thing apart and attempt to fix it if someone would be willing to work with me and coach me on how to diagnose and repair the thing.

I thought Porsche parts were available "for ever". We now have heater flap motors and gong relays no longer available. Is this a trend or coincidence? A bit worrying.

Perhaps these cars are an investment; for parts!

I've managed to source a part from a breaker yard. I've forgotten which one as I called many in my search.

I'd be happy to look it up if anyone is interested.
