I was going to post a piccie of my Marine blue targ, but as it's the one shown in Dave's listing, I won't bother! I will add that it's a faantastic colour, that looks different shades depending on the the light conditions. It's pretty rare too.

Marine Blue, like many Porsche colors is very light sensitive in sunlight its clearly blue, however if its overcast that's lost and it gray. I'm going for color swap..

Don't agree. It's always blue, but in direct sun appears shades of blue/purple.

Got to say I have a Porsche 964 in what I would say it the worst Blue (Sorry to others) that have ever seen on a Porsche. It only comes to life when very clean and very sunny otherwise it not blue and not black if you know what I mean.

Anyway hated it so much my Car is currently undergoing a full glass out bare metal respray in Metalic Black enough sad.

'Hate' blimey! Each to their own... black sounds very adventurous!

I have to say I'm more than happy with my Marine blue 964, being a bit different. It turns lots of heads and gets lots of positive comments about the colour (in the sunshine normally). Anyway I'd say how it drives, sounds and how big a smile it puts on your face is more important, than it's shade in the shade!!

It's the car from 964uk.com - the Targa Florio - that Andy suggests is Midnight Blue. According to the owner, it IS Midnight Blue. The Marine Blue example on 964uk.com looks much more line rarebear's car.

Regards

Dave
