Default Will 996 Turbo wheels fit a NB 964?

Gents, I'm looking to purchase a set of 18" 996 turbo wheels for my 964 Narrow Body. Sizes: Fronts are 18x8 ET 52/ Rears 18x10 ET 40.

The fronts look as though they might fit but the rears are really questionable. Your thoughts? Anybody running these at the track?

The 996TT rear wheels are 18x11ET45. They won't fit.

The ones you have in mind might fit with a spacer.

Thanks Steve and Ilko for your input. I'm looking for a set of OEM hollow spoke track wheels. I prefer not to use spacers if at all possible. Would you happen to know if Porsche made hollow spokes in a 17" with preferred ET's that would fit my NB 964?

Edit: After some research I came up with this chart with all OEM wheels Porsche made with offsets. It appears the hollow spokes were made only in 18"

http://www.944racing.de/ (Under informationen lower left) ( click on Felgengewichte for wheel chart)

Thanks again for your help,

Dan

I'm not sure if you ever got an answer on this, but yes, they do fit. I have those wheels (mine are the 993 p/n hollow spoke versions, same sizes and offsets) on my C2 NB and they fit fine. They fill up the wheel wells for sure, especially in back. I have 235/40/18s in front and 265/35/18s in back.

2002M3Drew, apppreciate you confirming the fitment. I ended up purchasing a set of Turbo OEM Cup 1's for my second set of wheels. Sounds like you have the perfect fit of wheel and tires for the NB. Any pictures of your car?

I have Boxster 17" twists and they fit fine. Considering going to light weight 18's for the track.

Drew, thanks for taking the time to post the pictures. The car looks great. love the color and stance. The 18's certainly do fill up the wheel wells nicely. Looks like a perfect car setup for Street/DE duty.

here's some info from a 993 guy with a few sets of wheels

all wheels are 18"
993 Narrow body fitment
front 8" ET 52
Rear 10" ET 67

these came in both hollow and non

993 wide body fitment
same fronts
Rear = 10" ET 50

996 Widebody fitment
front 8" ET 50
rear 11" ET 45

these came in both hollow and non

for a 964 you could probably use most any 993 or 996 wheelset used on a narrow body car.
just depends on your ride height / camber / tires used / etc.

have fun

Craig

Here's a link to a lot of the Porsche wheels, offsets, weights, etc. It's a good resource. My 993 hollow twists are 8 x 18 and 10 x 18, 52 and 40 ET respectively.
