Default Koni Inserts

Anybody done the Koni inserts on there car? Wondering if there are any tricks/tips to do this. Koni has come out with the full strut, but at about double the cost, I will go with the inserts.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

It's very simple. The only difference between replacing the whole strut and just the insert is you cut the top off, and drain the oil out of the bottom. Then the new insert goes in. Probably takes an hour for both, at the most. Koni puts instructions in the box which are pretty clear. Good luck.

Thanks. I placed the order today. Already have the Koni shocks on the rear. Setup will be Koni's with Reds. Going from 18" wheels back to 16" for street driving.

Any suggestions on best way to cut the tops? (hack saw, pipe cutting tool, dremel?)

I used a hack saw, but I would imagine that a pipe cutter would be pretty good too. That's the same set up on my car, except I have 17's on the car. Pretty happy with it.
