Default Anyone in the LA area know this car?

I posted a while back about looking for a well sorted 964 or a RSA and now my budget is a little lower so a RSA is out of the question. Anyone know of this car or have any thoughts on it?

Thanks,

Ed

I was just looking at that car on autotrader, I'd be interesting in hearing peoples opinions.

The owner's user name is mjshira... he has tons of posts both here and over at Pelican.
He built this car... so he will be a very knowledgeable seller!
An awesome example of the 964's R Gruppe hot rod potential!

If there is info/records on the rebuild this would be a nice DE car!

Very unique 964. Manual steering rack. Sunroof delete (fiberglass insert) Sound deadner delete, RS carpet and door panels, 993 RS steering wheel, recaro sportline seats, GHL headers with heat and custom magnaflow exhaust, serpentine fan belt, A/C delete, rothsport shifter with 993 RS shift rods, rebuilt engine with 20k on and less than 1% leakdown, RS trans mount, new clutch, shift fork update, BBS wheels, new alternator, fuel injectors, AFM, all engine sensors, later model plastic intake, nology wires, new plugs, new coils, fuel pump, replaced oil lines, RS rear bumper, fiberglass hood and front bumper (car weighs 2650) no stereo, H4 head light upgrade (120H, 100L) with relays, RS suspension with new front struts and monoballs (proper 964 RS) stock sways and breaks. Windshield washer bottle delete. New DME and wiring. Over 30k invested in the car. New paint last year. Car has one issue, anti-lock break light goes off sometimes. Seems to be false positive as breaks work awesome and have been inspected. This is an enthusiasts car. I built her for DE, autoX and track work. She was driven here from Indiana and daily and I am only selling because I need an automatic and 4 doors. If you want a cool and unique 964 this is your car. Finish the final touches and have a ball with her.

Thanks so much! I will look into it. I am expecting a call from him soon to discuss the car.

Sounds like a good price for what he put into her! Sounds like a lot of fun, still get a PPI done though.

You might ask for the passenger side mirror when you purchase!

I think this type of car would appeal to a different type of owner...
