Talat, thats a lovely car - a little more detail please. So it looks like a 3.8 RS, it has the full race recaros, but I cant see a cage? Is it road spec or track?

Looks like a very rare car to me!!! Looks stunning too.

h_______ , was it your car I saw recently at RPMTechnic? Engine re-build? If it was, my apologies for licking your paintwork

I mostly hang about on Rennlist, there is so much good info. . Haven't made any UK meets to date, but will try harder next year.

Mine... currently away for a tart up. Getting withdrawl symptoms already.

Gents, one date for you diaries to meet up next year is:

The annual Porsche RS day at Oulton Park on Friday 12th March 2010.

Always a great day out with plenty of 964s (especially the RS variety) whizzing round the track. Some of those that have already replied in this thread are booked on the track (it's fully booked BTW) and I'm sure will be happy to give p/x rides if they have a free seat .

I'll post a separate thread nearer the time.

Meek - indeed it would have been. The car is getting a lot of attention at the moment, as it needs a few things sorting out. Engine rebuild has turned out well, car is a lot stronger as a result, and it looks a lot cleaner now. Been using RPM for a long time now, they really love their 964s, which is a bonus and are always very enthusiastic about the car.

Car will be back with them in the new year for a few things no doubt! What is yours having done?

Well hello to all. My Son is a Porsche guy and is currently at RAF Lakenheath. When he came hom the last time, Spet to get married, he drove my 928 and 944. I will never forget those moments as they made me very happy.

One more Brit here with a GP White 964 RS Lightweight. Sorry I didn't buy the wheels in the end Norman, still holding out for the holy grail BBSs...

Ferdinand Butzi Porsche's scribble on my engine lid...

My car at the first chicane on the Mulsanne Straight at Le Mans, France 2008...

Jeez, these cars are good!

Also known as 'RSGulp' on PCGB 964RS Forum, DDK Forum, 911UK Forum...

h____________ , having a re-trim, which I will post bragging pictures of when done

I will probably see your car again in January. RPM are 10 mins away from me and I have known Ollie for quite a while; very handy for me and often pop down to waste some time talking Porsche. Yes, they do like their 964s. Was hoping Ollie would pick up an RS at some point, but I think he has been priced out of the market and will be hunting for a GT3. Poor him!
