HVAC gremlin causing starting problems. Help needed.

With my limited electrical knowledge Baz, I'll take your word for it! 
As I say, I'm not 100% convinced yet that it's solved but at least I now have a sensible current drain (it goes down to 0.09 amps with the power window and radio fuses removed) and the immobiliser is disarming as it should. I can now turn my thoughts to booking her in for a rebuild at Jonny's place

So you're going for the rebuild then Steve? Hopefully the insides of yours will be in better condition than mine were and therefore, you won't be forced to sell any internal organs on fleabay!
