Default a tad much?

while scanning p-car for sale listings in japan (car sensor)....this stood out for 2 reasons...1986, 40,000km (25,000miles) AND perhaps bodykit project went a little too far (could that be the reason for low mileage????)

Low mileage could well be a reason. Wouldnt be seen dead in it.

Can you imagine trying to use one of the kajillion buttons on the steering wheel while coming onto full boost with a K29... lol

C'mon guys, a lot of planning, effort and money went into bastardizing these cars. If the goal was to make something unique and grade A fugly....mission accomplished.

Gemballa used to be the shiznit back in the day. I've seen some better examples of their work.

seems so & if its same outfit goes back to tuning very high performance porsche racers - guess they were gradually reduced to producing bodykit (at extreme end!)

Gemballa does upgrade work, but their bodykits are too extreme for me. I like Ruf stuff, subtle sledgehammer. The 997 Gemballa Avalanche or their Mirage GT are nice....the over the top stuff like the ones pictured above are nothing but an eyesore to me. I'd rather drive a kitted S2k.
