Is it similar to a 993 where you just remove the torque tube?

I've read from previous posts that is not the same and is expensive. I hate to say this but search is your best friend.
Good luck!

Not simple at all and very expensive... you'd be better off buying a C2...

I don't think I've ever heard of anyone ever really doing it and experiencing the real cost - you could be the first.

I think it was in Panerama.

I'm doing a C4 to C2 conversion as we speak. It is fairly involved and pretty expensive I can tell you that much!

No local guy named Lance. I'm helping to do a lot of the work myself also.

Nov Excellence has a Tiptronic to 993 6sp conversion. Maybe some pertinent info in the article.

Would selling the C4 and buying a C2 be out of the question?
Seams like the more common sense thing to me anyway.

to be honest, im looking for a nice c2 but found a great c4 that works in every other way, except for that its a c4.
but, its appears to be a bit expense to convert to a c2.
What would you guys estimate as the cost? . just curious , i doubt it works.

When you say 'works in every other way except it's a C4' what is it NOT doing for you that a C2 does?

the car will be used for DE as well as road use driving to the track. Therefore, id just prefer a c2.
