Default 964 Horn Problem

Hello!

My horn works once or twice, then stops. Seems to come alive after the ignition has been off - could this be a dodgy relay issue?

Can anyone confirm if the horns are accessible by removing the inner wind lining in the o/s front?

Many thanks,

Greg

Oddly, my only horn malfeasance was due to failing steering wheel buttons.
One worked (kinda) and the other didn't.

So, I disassembled both buttons in place, rebent their spring elements to give as-new springiness, and lightly touched up/sanded the slightly corroded electrical contact points.

The horns work fine now. (Never had to touch any relay, fuse, other. Sorry.)
Good luck!

Yes, the horns can be accessed by removing the wheel liner on RHS (at least, on RHD cars, that's where they are).
