Default Roadtrip from LA to Seqouia

Here are some pix from our road trip to beautiful Sequoia national park, CA.

Brave "Old Blacky" was finally breaking into the 160.000mile region during this trip. German engineering.

Nice shots! Thanks for sharing. I was up there earlier this summer - but not with the p-car.

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. It was 36F (2C) at the top and snow/rain mixture, so the Performance Yokohama´s had their work cut out on the slippery slopes! The heat in the aircooled machines comes well in handy, like a Finnish sauna (minus the boos).

Very nice! 160,000 miles and going strong. Thanks for the Friday morning inspiration, now I'm looking even more forward to my weekend trip with the 964. I'm ONLY at 120,000... lots more adventures ahead!

Jetta911,
120.000miles? Your car is barely broken in!

I like the headlight photo best. Very good shots. What % is your window tinting?

BlueHeeler (am happy to note that Herder dogs also enjoy the 964),

You mean the last one, no?

The tinting were on the car when I got it so I really do not know. It is a tad too dark, you barely see anything through the interior rear mirror unless there is full daylight. But hey, it looks cool from the out side and that is all that counts!

christallon, Thanks! it´s a C2. I agree the stance i great but is basically down to (160.000mile) the totally worn out dampers/top bushings with some help from H&R green lowing springs added 8 yrs ago by previous owner. I am in the process of getting the HDs, so I hope they keep the height.

BTW, I love the 964 in GP White! Is your avatar taken at the Palos Verdes Peninsula?

Actually, the pic is from a trip my wife and I took in September up the West coast. This was somewhere between Rocky Point and Big Sur along Highway 1. 1,000 miles of trouble free C2 driving. Fantastic. I live in LA too. We should meet up some time and talk P cars. I'm ready to do suspension, and I like the stance of your car.
