Brake Pads?
Which pads do you use?
Iam after a little more stopping without a lot more expense.
Currently useing standard texstar pads, with new brake lines (stainless braided) ate fluid, and drilled zimmerman discs, standard c-2 brakes.
Iam thinkin mayb a change of pads?

The answer depends on how you use the car. Street, drivers ed, racing?
My new favorite street pad are Pagid Blue (no affiliations). I use them on both street and the occasional DE.

Also, can you clarify your goal?
For example, did you want to reduce the stopping distance required to go from 100 - 0 kmh? Or are you looking for pads which will reduce the amount of pedal force required to engage your brakes?
Your car's stopping power is a reflection of the grip provided by the tires. If you're riding on worn, hard rubber, you'll see shorter braking distances by replacing them with new, high-performance tires. Grippier pads will simply reduce the pedal force required to engage the ABS; they will not, however, improve your car's stopping ability.

The Sport Pad is a high performance compound with low fading characteristics and high cold-friction. The most comfortable medium friction sport compound. The Sport Pad is rotor friendly and suitable for street and light track use.
PAGID "S" Brake Pads are dipped in a anti-corrosion blue paint, with a layer also on the friction surface. This paint coating will disintegrate during the first braking applications without any loss of friction compared to our other non-coated compounds. In addition a majority of the "S" Line is standard with anti-noise shims.

This is more than a little confusing. Pagid makes two compounds which are painted blue but they only sell one "blue" pad.
Rob- The description you provided was for the Black 4-2-1 (painted blue), also referred to as the Sport or S pads. The original Blue 4-2 compound is more track-focused and often--but not exclusively--referred to as Pagid Blues.

I agree. Not sure why Pagid had two different pads both painted blue. I'm running the S-Line sport (street) pad not any of the track pads.

Iam after fast road pads.
The brakes work fine but do require a lot of force, and for the first time last week i needed more brakes, pedal pushed hard as and still needed more!
So the pagid blacks/blues are a good replacement?

The extra pedal force might suggest other issues, Russ. You may want to give this thread a read to see if you're experiencing similar symptoms. Whenever I need to give my brakes an extra shove, I'll flush the system--2 liters.

Do I remember right that you've recently replaced your rear brakes from the standard 2 pots to the bigger 4 pots? If so, did you change the brake proportioning valve to the higher pressure one so it suits the bigger calipers?
