Even after 7 years, getting into my 964 still makes me grin from ear to ear.

How's it going, Greg?

My 964 has 'introduced me' to many, many fine people.

Case in point.

To me, Porsche struck the perfect balance between the classic and the
modern with the 964. It has the timeless teardrop silhouette, the visceral
driving experience, and the air cooled thrum of its forefathers, coupled
with the modern safety and convenience features found in its progeny.

Put another way, it has the edginess and soul of its ancestors with just
enough modern civility mixed in.

The 964 body style is one most recognizable shapes in the world. I’ve had this car nearly three years now and love it more now than when I purchased it. This car is 15 years old with more than 130,000 miles and I still get stares and comments from people.

Since this is still going.
It's that smell of gas and leather when you first slide into the seat. The thump of the door shutting. The rough idle of that cold beautiful engine waking up and eager to go. That first good stretch of road you come to where you can really roll out the gears and hear that baby singing. (You all know exactly what I'm talking about).
The 964s are all unique, personal hand built works of art. With history and personality. A true sexy mistress, that my wife will allow me. Barely.

When is that article going to press?

Default 964 Thoughts and Experience

Hi

I have been driving my 1993 964 RSA for 3 years now. I took me 10 years to find the right one. During this time I was an owner of 1984 911 3.2. Great Porsche but cannot compare to the RSA. The RSA commands the most of my driving ability which always results in a exciting and great experience. During "spirited" club drives I always seem to get a question from other participants (993 & 996) on what horsepower upgrades I have added. The answer is NONE. It's the driver and the Porsche RSA being totally envolved.

I'm moved by two things: One, that no other car has the same brilliant feel of my 964. It's just so damn visceral, perfect, tight, responsive, happy. I never need the radio, ever!
Two, that the car, when pushed, awakens it's race car DNA. It's like a whole other level and the experience of "oh, that's what they mean when they say every Porsche IS a racing car..."

The feel of the 964 is like no other car I've driven. From the coughing sputter of the exhaust when the engine catches to the hot air shooting from the rear wheel wells after shut it down, I enjoy every drive.
