Default Cotton slip on seat covers - Who has them?

After doing some research (again) on recovering the seats, I am going to do the carpet too... Spoke with three manufacturers and it sounds like it is more of a project for someone experienced than an impatient, somewhat sloppy finisher like myself. To do the seats alone the price varies from $550 to $850 for labor alone.... At that point, I may as well go ahead and do the carpets too for another grand said'n'done... At this time I don't have $3,000 to throw at it.
So.... To get me through until I sell one of my cranes and have the disposable-disposable $ I need to do something... I had a set of cotton covers on a Bimmer with cloth seats some years ago that fit like a glove and lasted the 100,000 miles I owned it... I did just buy a set from Autoanything and they fit like crap, anyone have a brand and place to get them that they can recommend?
Thanks
Mike

Looking for the same thing, Mike. Pending re-trim and want to source some zip on covers for the front seats; I know, odd, but I want to protect the new leather while still being used as a daily driver.

I had some for my first 944, sourced online from one of the specialists, but now can't find them again.

That is the first step. So glad it came from you

Putting covers in the seats makes me feel like when I went to my old aunt's house with the sofa cover in clear vinyl...

Anyway... what about modifying the ones you just got to make them fit better... pull out the Singer and fix them.

OR just get the new covers... don't have to do both things at the same time...

My word, that Singer brings back some memories. Mum used to have one just like that in the 1970s. No end of fashion crimes were committed on me - picture evidence with-held. Mind you, my sister faired much worse. Amazing what can be made out of a lurid old, flowery pair of curtains.

Wow, can't believe nobody around here has them, after the seats are done I plan to put them back on (assuming they fit as nicely as the ones I had before). My mother had a business making slip covers for her whole married life, she actually didn't quit until alzheimer's kicked in heavy, if she were still here, they'd been done by now... She made countless ones out of the clear plastic too LOL... RIP Mom

I'd like to see pics of the sheepskin covers. I'd actually really like a set. I know they look tacky but I kinda like the tacky look. My leather doesn't breathe at all, its gotten very hard and in some places water damaged (previous owner left car outside with leaky targa top).

Recommendations where to get sheepskins? I don't want to spend a fortune...

I got them at COSTCO
Very reasonable quality and not expensive. I have had them on the car for 6 years and except for a bit of fade they still are perfect shape.

I have seen one of these covers, sold by Automotion, in person on a sport seat and they are really high quality and well worth the money.

The site does not show the finished product. Perhaps you can inquire from the store/manufacturer.

Or these? I've seen them on eBay for a year. They are also known as Germanex. Their eBay store name is Diamond Mall. Lots of really good eBay feedback on their canvas convertible tops.

I googled them and found some Mercedes guys raving about them. Anyone use their products? For $700, it may be worth a shot.

Regarding sheepskins, my car had them when I bought it. Was the first thing I took off. They were new and shed. Plus, they wouldn't stay on the seats right. Still have them if anyone would like them.

I have these on my convertible and they're acceptable. I was looking for something to reduce the sweating when driving with the top down and they do a good job. Out of the box the tops had some fit problems but the company that makes them fixed them no problem. The top slips over and fits well. The bottoms have a tendency to move around, but it's better than sitting on the leather and looking like you pissed your pants when you get out of the car.

Can you share some close-up pics?
