battery damage can be horrible & after having that problem with other cars I bought one of those acid neutralizing pads and set the battery on it...just in case.

I am in Norway, rest of the car looks pretty good. The previous owner drove the car year round and on these salty roads thats not to good if you dont take extremely good care of it. Doing a complete check over to see if there are more undiscovered stuff. I will at least change the whole spare wheel well. Will post pics when done.

I had the same issue on my old C2. I ended up having a complete new front floor welded into the car. It was quite a lot of money to get it fixed professionally c. $5k from memory.
