FWIW not all of the factory wheels have the numbers next to the valve stems.
A factory wheel will have the Porsche part number cast into the rear side of the wheels.
That lets you know its a factory part, just going by numbers next to the valave stem is not an accurate way to tell

I just sold the wheels off my 92 964 because they were chromed - the part no's and offsets were correct but they did say made in Italy on the castings... I was curious too... Those Italian cars start with the "F" word...

My MM cup 1 replicas (made in Italy) don't have Porsche part numbers on them so my thinking is that wheels with a part number must be originals.

Cobalt is right,
The cups and some other rims such as the 993 targa rims are Speedline made in Italy. I visited the factory in 97 and saw the porsche rims being coated !

I have some old racing cups (different offset and larger holes) directly bought from Motorsport in Germany and they are tagged made in Italy :

That is a good reference. It also shows the .01 version in 8" size which looks entirely different from the rear.

Resurrecting an old thread: Does anyone know if Speedline made the D-90's or the 993 Cup II's? Both are made in Italy.
